М. Что для тебя герой? Возможность - невозможность проекции.

Ю. Я  себя не могу идентифицировать с героем, поскольку он представляет собой прямо противоположный мне психологический тип. Поэтому в проекте меня интересовала стратегия, а не “маленькая история” Благова.

М. Что для тебя предшественники - участники проекта представлявшие московскую художественную сцену.?

Ю. Поскольку я не видел ни одного из предыдущих этапов работы я оказался перед лицом объекта состоявшего из сорока слоев. Это было знакомо для меня, так как воспринимаю лист бумаги как пирожное Наполеон, слоистую структуру которого можно как угодно глубоко прорезать, открывая ближние или далекие слои изображения.

В этой структуре нулевой вариант это не лист бумаги, а модульная сетка, которая и является первым слоем.

From the conversation between Marina Pertchihina and Juriy Sobolev

M. What is the heroe for you? Is this a problem of possibility-impossibility of projection?

Ju. I can’t identify myself with a heroe, because his is the opposite to my psychological type. That is why I was rather interested in the strategy of Blagov’s “tiny history”.

M.         What do your predecessors that is the participants of the Project, who are the representatives of moscow art scene as well, mean to you?

Ju. As a matter of fact I couldn’t sea none of the previous layers and in consequence to it I confronted with an object consisted of forty layers. Yet it was something familiar to me, because I used to perceive a sheet of paper as Napoleon cake with its flaky structure which you can cut up as deep as you can thus discovering  

near and distant layers of the image.

Only in this structure the zero variant is not a sheet of paper but a certain modular net which is the first layer.
